What is the difference between the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise EU-C1 Version?

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise and DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise EU-C1 Version are essentially the same aircraft, but the EU-C1 Version is a sub-900g drone and is C1 class-marked.

From the start of 2026 in the UK, the EU-C1 version will have greater flight freedom compared to the standard Mavic 3 Enterprise.

For Open Category operations in the UK, currently, both the Mavic 3 Enterprise and the Mavic 3 Enterprise EU-C1 can be flown in the A2 subcategory (close to people) with an A2 CofC, or in the A3 subcategory (far from people) without an A2 CofC.

However, from the start of 2026, when the UK CAA recognises EU class markings, the Mavic 3 Enterprise EU-C1 can be flown in the Open Category's A1 subcategory, conducting flights over people: Thus giving operators more freedom.

Please note: A Mavic 3 Enterprise Series drone with a C2 label cannot be considered C1-compliant if used with an EU-C1 version battery.
