Accredited drone training
heliguy is a CAA-approved Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE(PC)) — the formal accreditation drone training providers must hold to deliver UK General VLOS Certificate and A2 CofC qualifications. That accreditation is the assurance that the course you book is built and assessed to the CAA's published standards.
What CAA accreditation actually means
Under the UK CAA framework, only Recognised Assessment Entities can sign off on GVC and A2 CofC competence — the two qualifications that unlock most UK commercial drone operations. RAE(PC) is the highest tier of training accreditation the CAA awards, covering both syllabus delivery and the assessment of practical flight competence.
Choosing an accredited provider means the certificate you walk away with is issued under the CAA's authority — not a private operator's. That matters when you apply for an Operating Authorisation, when an insurer reviews your credentials, and when a client asks for evidence of competence.
