Operating Safety Case
Drafting and review service for the Operating Safety Case (OSC) that sits behind a UK CAA Operating Authorisation. We write the operations manual, emergency procedures and supporting evidence, then liaise with your CAA assessor through to approval.
Why an OSC is non-negotiable
For any operation outside the standard PDRA limits, the UK CAA requires an Operating Safety Case — a structured document set demonstrating that your operation is safe-by-design across ground risk, air risk, technical mitigations and organisational controls.
It's the load-bearing artefact of the whole application. A weak OSC means assessor queries, scope cuts and delays; a clean OSC means the authorisation you actually want, on the timeline you actually need.
