Drone survey training

Why workflow training matters
A GVC qualifies you to fly. It doesn't teach you to plan a corridor survey, calibrate a LiDAR system, set Ground Control Points, or deliver a deliverable a chartered surveyor can sign off. Most survey teams come back to us after their first paid survey realising that the gap between "can fly" and "can survey" is wider than the certificate suggests.
Survey training closes that gap. The course follows the actual production pipeline of a survey project — every step taught with the tooling your team will use back in the office, not generic theory.
What the course covers
Mission planning
Flight planning, GSD calculation, overlap settings, GCP placement and accuracy budgeting.
Flight execution
Photogrammetry and LiDAR capture procedures, PPK/RTK workflows, in-field QA.
Processing
DJI Terra, Pix4D, RealityCapture or Site Scan — hands-on with the tool your team will run.
Deliverable handover
Outputs in the formats your downstream CAD or GIS team expects (DWG, IFC, GeoTIFF, LAS).
