“Professional and structured online classes. I started the classes with zero knowledge on drones and zero flight hours. Throughout the course Ryan answered any questions I had promptly and patiently. Andrew conducted my flight assessment and was very polite and helpful. Good guys to have on the team!”
“I’ve just completed and passed my A2 CofC and GVC with Heliguy and I can’t recommend this training provider highly enough. Heliguy training has been a great learning experience with an excellent online course. Thank you to the team members who helped and supported me with any questions I had (I’m sorry I’ve not remembered your names). For the names a have remembered… A big thanks goes to Ryan, who carefully reviewed my planning documentation and lengthy PDRA01 operations manual. His attention to detail and support behind the scenes made the process so much smoother and gave me real confidence heading into the assessment. However, the real star of the show was Lois, my flight assessment assessor/coordinator. From the moment I arrived she was welcoming, approachable and instantly put me at ease. What could have been a nerve racking day turned into something genuinely enjoyable thanks to her calm, friendly manner. Her professionalism and depth of knowledge around drones, aviation law and systems is second to none — she even went the extra mile to show me features I hadn’t yet discovered. That kind of passion and expertise really stood out.Honestly, if you get Lois as your assessor, you’ve basically won the lottery. She’s the perfect blend of professional and approachable and she turned what I expected to be a stressful test into a positive, confidence building experience. She’s a huge credit to the organisation and deserves every bit of praise. Without doubt, a 5-star experience from online training, learning modules, exams all the way to flight assessment! Thank you ALL very much.”
“Andrew and Lois were fantastic instructors, very informative and very helpful, Andrew was my instructor and he made everything easy to understand and was always there if we had any issues or we struggled at any part of the training”
“Great experience with Andrew and Lois . Explanations were clear , nothing was ever an issue . Confidence levels are much higher now that the training has been completed”
“Great overall learning experience flying the DJIM30T. A big thank you to Lois and Andrew, wouldn’t have been able to do it without them!”
“The entire process of obtaining the A2/GVC certificate was great. The amount of information in the online training course was fantastic and delivered well and Faye was lovely and calming during the online test. When it came to doing the practical GVC test, Odysseus put us at ease and made the experience enjoyable rather than nerve racking. Communication from Heliguy was fast and helpful whenever needed. 10/10.”
“Extremely helpful, accommodating with timescales to fit own goals and timelines, over the phone technical support are very supportive and friendly, highly recommended!! Great online training resources too!”
“Heliguy were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I ordered the A2cofc and GVC combined course and every step of the way they were incredibly supportive. The online service allowed me to learn in my own time instead of taking time off work and the free resits made my exams as well as my learning comfortable and stress free. Luckily I passed both first time but that safety net was great. The online videos are clear and concise and if there was anything I didn't understand, they were fast to respond and informative on the live chat or just a phone call away. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever you needed them. I often thought I was bothering them too much but they always reassured me that they were more than happy to help. I was nervous ahead of my practical GVC exam, but Lois was brilliant. She reassured me and made the experience enjoyable and a lot less stressful that I expected while maintaining the standards of the exam. The only small negative of the course was that I had to complete 2 hours of flying before my exam, and while it was very helpful for me to practice manoeuvres and emergency procedures, it was a bit of a pain finding places to legally fly away from the general public during dry days. This is something I knew going in so I can't really complain about it and it's certainly not a reason to not take this course. All in all, I can't thank the team at Heliguy enough and when you factor it the cost of the course compared to it's competitors, it's a no brainer.”

What are the benefits of taking the combined A2 CofC and GVC course?⌄
Achieving the A2 CofC and GVC provides greater operational freedom, enabling organisations the flexibility of operating across the Open and Specific Categories.
It is also more cost-effective than taking the courses separately. This allows organisations to scale their operations more seamlessly.
What Do I Have To Do In The Practical Flight Assessment?⌄
The practical flight assessment is designed to provide assurance that the remote pilot being examined can safely undertake a wide range of VLOS operations within the Specific Category, including those conducted under a published PDRA, whilst adhering to a set of procedures contained within an Operations Manual.
The test will be conducted outdoors and candidates must sufficiently show competence in a range of pre-and-post-flight actions, and in-flight procedures.
All candidates must complete the practical flight test.
The practical flight examination can be conducted at one of our UK training venues, or at a venue of your choice if you are undertaking a closed course training programme.
