What do I need to book a rental?
Provide a few key documents, then enjoy your hire.
Insurance
Insure your rental under a hired-in (non-owned) equipment policy. We’ll need a certificate before your kit ships.
Flyer ID
Hold a valid CAA Flyer ID, plus an Operator ID covering the category of aircraft you’re hiring.
Proof of ID
After checkout, send a copy of your passport or driving licence so we can verify the booking.

DJI Dock Key Features
- Fast Recharging:
The DJI M30 will automatically charge in its dock and will be ready to fly just 25 minutes after landing. Fully charged, the M30 flies for 40 minutes.
- Waterproof Design:
The Dock is rated IP55 and the core internal components IP67, making it waterproof and dustproof even when it is open. The M30 Series Dock Version has a max wind resistance of 15 m/s and an IP55 rating.
- Versatile Data Capture:
The M30 Series Dock Version integrates wide, zoom, and thermal cameras (M30T only) with a laser rangefinder.
- Environmental Adaptability:
The M30 Dock's interior is climate-controlled for safe charging temperatures, even when the outside climate is -35°C to 50°C.
- 4G Connectivity:
Dock connectivity can be expanded with an optional external 4G dongle.
- Emergency Power Supply:
In case of a power outage, the Dock's internal battery will take over and keep the dock operational to make sure the M30 lands from its mission.

Can the M30 series (Dock version) be controlled by a remote controller (RC)?⌄
Yes. The M30 series (Dock version) can be controlled after linking the DJI RC Plus remote controller (RC) to the aircraft.
What level of surge protection does the DJI Dock have?⌄
AC surge protection capacity is 40kA (8/20μs waveform), and meets EN/IEC 61643-11 TYPE 2 protection levels. RJ45 surge protection capacity is 1.5kA (8/20μs waveform), these meet the CATEGORY C protection level of EN/IEC 61643-21. Surge protection capability depends on the capacity and reliability of grounding. To minimise the risk of surges, please make sure that grounding is done properly during installation.
What's the interval between single operations of DJI Dock?⌄
The shortest interval between two flights is 25 minutes. Note: This is if the ambient temperature is 25°C (77°F), and the aircraft battery is charged from 10% to 90%. As the temperature rises, the time required for the battery to cool down will increase and the interval between flights will increase.
Does my Heliguy rental include an SD card?⌄
No, heliguy™ rentals do not come with any external SD cards.
