Frequently asked questions
Are there different versions of the XGRIDS Lixel L2?⌄
Yes, there are two versions of the XGRIDS Lixel L2. These are the 32-channel or the 16-channel.
The Lixel L2 (32 channel) has a 300m scan range and can scan 640,000p/s for a broader scanning perspective and upgraded point-cloud quality. In comparison, the L2 (16 channel) has a 120m scan range and can achieve 320,000p/s. The 16 channel version is less expensive than the 32 channel option.
Can the XGRIDS Lixel L2 be drone-mounted?⌄
Yes. While the Lixel L2 is a handheld scanner, it can also be mounted to a drone. A drone mount is available separately to enable the L2 to be integrated with the DJI M350 RTK and DJI M300 RTK drones.
How accurate is the Lixel L2 scanner?⌄
The Lixel L2 scanner can obtain 1.2cm relative accuracy; 2cm repeat accuracy; 3cm absolute accuracy, and 0.015° horizontal accuracy.
Repeatability accuracy, horizontal accuracy, and absolute accuracy are all measured when RTK has a fixed solution throughout the entire process; The relative accuracy is the medium error measured in an indoor space of 15,000 square meters.
Can the XGRIDS Lixel L2 be used indoors?⌄
Yes, the Lixel L2 can be used to collect data in indoor environments.
